Afghan anti-corruption official was busted for heroin in Vegas
Today Izzatullah Wasifi is the head of Afghanistan's anti-corruption authority. But in the 1980's Wasifi spent over three years in a Nevada prison after he tried to sell a pound and a half of heroin to an undercover cop in a Caesar's Palace hotel room. Wasifi plays down the incident, saying he was young and stupid. He also points out that he's in good company, as George W. Bush also has a criminal record for a drunk driving incident back in 1976.
